Description: This One-of-a-kind, Handcrafted Walking Cane "The Ankh" was crafted from a single, solid piece of 4/4" gorgeous Red Oak wood. The ankh or "key of life" is an ancient Egyptian hieroglyphic symbol used in Egyptian art and writing to represent the word for "life" and, by extension, as a symbol of life itself. · Style: Ankh · Color: Natural · Finish: Unstained (I do not stain any of my canes. I like the natural grain and color of the wood to show). The shine is from two base coats of clear shellac to seal the wood then finished with a coat of clear gloss polyurethane to protect it. · Handle Size: Overall handle width is 4-7/8" with a 2-3/4"x4" opening. The handle works great in the left or right hand, large hands or small, facing forwards or backwards. · Thickness: Roughly 1”+/- in diameter throughout. Weight: 1 lb. - 4 oz. · A standard 1" black rubber tip is included.· Length: Cane shown is 40" long but can be easily cut to any shorter length by simply removing the safety tip and cut to length using any standard wood saw OR, message me through Ebay immediately upon completion/payment of order and I would be happy to cut it to a desired length for you.
