These birds are part of a large collection of ceramic (I believe the material is ceramic) figurines that were painted and displayed in a shadow box. Unfortunately the box and some of the figurines were damaged. To save the remaining figurines, they had to be removed from the felt display material. For that reason you may see some glue remnants on the back of the figurines. These birds are marked as follows: - Blueden - Craft 12, Audubon Bird, Hand Crafted - White-Crowned Pigeon, Trailside Museum River Forest Il. If interested, I can provide some additional information on who I believe the artist was but can't prove it. These Beautiful Hand Painted Birds would make a Great Addition to Audubon Collection.
