Description: HallORANGE POPPY7.75" Souffle (c. 1933-1953) A very solid souffle (or casserole) bowl from Hall China in one of my favorite Hall patterns called "Orange Poppy," with platinum trim, on a very elegant pale yellow or cream shape with swirled ribs. There are 4 orange poppies surrounded by small blue flowers on 3 sides of the bowl. This souffle measures 7.75 inches wide across the rim, 7 inches across the base, and it sits 2.75 inches high. The souffle dish is in very good condition. There are no chips, cracks, or crazing, and very little sign of use or wear (no scratch marks or gouges). Even the platinum trim is fairly intact, with just slight wear (see closeup photo). This heavy bowl is stamped on the bottom in gold: "Hall 's Superior Quality Kitchenware | Made in U.S.A." There is also an impressed mark for HALL and a number that I thought was 605, but which the online consensus seems to think is 505.
