AdrienneWhen I saw my first H. L. Sanger picture I was taken back. It looked like someone had recently painted it. He was born in the 1892, died 1949 according to online site. I do not know when this was painted. Henry Leon Sanger of Boston area. He does these wonderful simple flowers with some more complex flowers lurking to the sides. This one I bought was framed with nice frame with four decorations. There may be a couple small scratches, but still looks great and if it bothers you, you can paint it. No back to speak of. The person before me took it apart, I never did. I believe this is painted on composite type board. Colors are very good and it looks great. Great signature. It does have some small rub areas and one pencil eraser size loss on the upper right corner. Please check out pictures. There are a couple of white paint splatters. You can remove easily. 22 1/2" x 32 1/2" overall with frame. The 20" x 30" is the picture only. Weighs 4 3/4 lbs. prior to packaging. Any questions, ask.
