Description: This unique photo-journalism book was, apparently self-published in 1972 in microscopic numbers by photographer Frank Lombardi. It contains photographs taken between 1968-1972 “while traveling in the United States, Western Europe, and North Africa.” Mostly, it’s pics of indigenous people of color, but inexplicable there’s a couple of shots of Janis Joplin and Jim Morrison. Guess those came from the states. LOL. Anyway, lottsa cool shots of a vanishing world. Very scarce. Next to impossible to find online. Pages aren’t numbered, but it looks to be around 75 or 80 pages. First, and probably, only, edition. It’s 50 years old, so there’s some yellowing of the outer edge of the pages, the part visible when the book is closed. Inside pages still very white. Only other condition issue is a former small dogear in upper right corner of front cover (see pics). Spine perfect. Never bent back. Book’s in excellent condition, except for the dogear. Normal slight aging, as you would expect.
