Together with the magazine En Viaje and other annexed services , it was part of the program to promote national tourism that the company began in the 1960s. 1930 . Its objective was to provide useful information for tourists. On its pages, they were able to find descriptions of places of tourist interest arranged geographically and practical information for visiting them, such as maps , railway itineraries and rates, hotel lists, among others. The magazine was also characterized by its attractive graphic material , which was reflected in its colorful covers and the participation of prominent artists and photographers in it, such as Alfredo Araya (1893-1954) and Roberto Montandn (1909-2003).
