Description: This Green Vintage Vietnam War Brush Hat Boonie US Army Sergeant Collectible is about 13 1/2 inches diameter across the brim, while the inside diameter is about 6 5/8 inches. The hat is about 3 inches deep to the inside crease and weighs about 6.2 ounces. There is an interior hat band made of some kind of plastic. There are no markings inside or outside to indicate size. This hat comes from the estate of my brother who served 2 tours of duty in Vietnam with the US Army 1970-71. I have a plaque he received from the same time period which he received in appreciation for his service from The 358 Aviation Division. I know he wore this hat as an Army Sergeant in Vietnam.
