The rear is a Maxon pickup with Greco. There is a MATSUMOKU MADE IN JAPAN stamp on the back of the neck joint plate. The neck is almost straight, and although only 30 to 40% of the frets remain, there is no partial wear, and so far I have not felt any major problems with play. The pickguard was in tatters, so we remade it and made other adjustments as well. There are some scratches and signs of use throughout, but considering the age, I think it is in good condition.
