This is one of the series of books that were excerpted from "The Mark Wilson Course in Magic" and reprinted in the early 1990's. The original format and material from the MW Course was duplicated, so it is well taught with lots of excellent illustrations and clear text.Although suited well to a beginner in Card magic, there are very commercial and effective routines in this book. (A few of them are still in my own performing repertoire, almost 40 years after I first learned them in my own MW Course book). Look at the sample page shot to get idea of format, and table of contents to see all the stuff you'll learn. My recent online search shows this book available for about $7, which is a bargain.
