Description: This original Grande Ballroom concert handbill was for the November 24, 1968 performance by Jefferson Airplane.I WAS THERE!!Terry Reid was the opening act and Tim Buckley was the supporting act. I was a HUGE fan of Jefferson Airplane and they did not disappoint! Terry Reid was a surprisingly good opener but the real thrill was members of the Grateful Dead (in town to perform the previous night at the Eastown) joining in on the relatively small Grande stage to do an encore jam.I had gotten this handbill at the previous weekends show (which was when they were handed out) and, afterwards purchased the poster. Gorgeous work by Carl Lundgren! (I gifted the poster to my nephew years ago. Now it's time to allow someone else to enjoy this beauty of a handbill.) There are some tape mark residue on the back from posting it on my wall!---but otherwise the card is in excellent shape.
