Description: This cable was made specifically for the ASUS ESC4000 chassis to connect a GPU video accelerator (specifically the K80 and P40) to the connectors on the PDB for the ESC4000 G3. The pinout of the connector is different than a standard 4 pin Molex connection. The cable starts off as a normal CPU cable, however I put the 2x2 connections on it. The cable from tip of connector to tip of connector is approximately 7" in length. It is using 18 gauge wire. I have made 4 of these for my server and have been running it using K80 and P40 cards without issue for months now. Note: Also included is a 4 pin CPU cable extension. This allows you to have enough room that you will not struggle to install/remove the riser card. The modification is to the GPU cable, NOT the extension, so keep that in mind. If you choose to use these for another server chassis or other card, PLEASE verify the pinout is correct! I am not responsible if you damage your GPU or server!
