Description: Up for sale is a gorgeous, CLAed, Fully-working example of a very rare and obscure classic 35mm pocket camera, the Sierra 35 Mark VI. The manufacturer of this camera is mysterious, as the body appears identical to the Emi 35/Lumica, which was manufactured by Oshiro Optical Works, but the lens is a Tokinon 45mm f/3.5, which is identical to the lens found on 1950's FirstFlex cameras manufactured by Tokiwa Seiki. The top plate of this camera also features a "TSK" logo, so it appears that it indeed may have been a Tokiwa camera made built upon a chassis supplied by Oshiro. The camera features a fixed-focus viewfinder, with focal distance determined by using a scale on the lens barrel. Shutter speeds are not numeric, but are rather set using "slow," "medium," "fast," and "high" settings on the leaf shutter. Given the obscurity of this camera, I haven't been able to find a manual explaining what the actual speed equivalents are for these settings, so it might require some trial and error to determine what they are. The camera itself is in gorgeous vintage condition, with light handling wear only, fully working, smooth mechanics and shutter, and clean lens glass and viewfinder free of scratches/haze/fungus. Includes original brown leather branded lens case (moderate wear) with film case and strap, and metal slide-on lens cap. b080
