Description: For sale is a Massachusetts coin silver dessert spoon by Skinner & Sweet of Boston, ca 1846-57. The spoon is 7 3/8 inches long and weighs 26 grams. It had no drop, rounded shoulders and an upturned double-swell fiddle handle. The spoon is monogrammed “EAB” on the handle back. It is marked [SKINNER & SWEET.] in a rectangle. Condition on the spoon is good. There are some stubborn spots and and normal wear from use. A nice old coin dessert spoon!
