Description: Durand art glass was produced at the Vineland Flint Glass Works located in Vineland NJ from 1924-1931. The factory employed many famous glass workers from earlier defunct glass works. Thus many objects and finishes are reminiscent of early art glass. This vase is essentially gold iridescent that shows hints of blue and red depending on the light. Flared top with two punched out rings. There are a couple of scratches that are emphasized in the photos but are unobtrusive in real time. Someone used this as a flower vase thus there are some interior deposits, not visible from the outside.Good signature to the base - Durand in a V, model 20155-10. Photographed in as found estate condition, minor wear from age and use, will be gently hand cleaned prior to shipping. Approx 10”h, 895.7g.
