Description: This listing is for a vintage Swedish art glass sculpture by Hanne Dreutler (1972-2009) for Studio Ähus. It is a clear concave orb with a rich purple droplet to the lower right side. This piece is gently used, with no discernible chips, cracks, breaks or restoration. It measures 7.25” high x 7.25” diameter x 2” thick and is signed on the base. Hanne Dreutler met Arthur Zirnsack at Kosta Boda where they worked under Vicke Lindstrand. Dreutler & Zirnsack married and started their own glass house, Studio Ähus, in the southeast of Sweden in 1977; In 1993 Studio Ähus was granted the appointment to the King of Sweden. Hanne Dreutler died in 2009. Studio Ähus continues and is now run by their son Martin Zirnsack and Lennart Nissmark. Take a look at the photos for any and all condition issues.
