Description: Gibson F-4 circa ~1922 Sunburst. (I can’t ascertain the serial number) I am selling this vintage Gibson F-4 Mandolin sporting a beautiful broadly curled one-piece slab cut, a lavishly detailed flow pot headstock inlay, and an awesome sunburst finish. The mandolin is in good condition and shows signs of moderate playwear that would be seen on a 100 year old instrument. The mandolin has a few lighter surface scratches on the body from handling but is in overall great shape for its age. The sound is amazing. So is the smell! The frets have some noticeable wear in them. Mandolin weighs in at 2.3 Lbs. Mandolin comes with Original case as pictured. The handle broke off but was replaced by my great grandfather who was the original owner.
