Description: GGH - Pure Silk, Made in Italy This GGH yarn is very soft yarn of finest pure silk. A new GGH ball was opened, divided, and hand embellished. A very fine lurex thread was used to sew tiny beads into the fiber at 1.5 - 2.0 inch intervals. It has silver & gold seed beads, pink & white seed pearls, silver bugle beads, tiny crystals, and clear sequins. The thread holding the beads is not plied, rather it is carefully embroidered into the fiber and mostly invisible. The result is stunning hank (75 meters) reflects light in a subtle way. If you have a special project, this is a very rare and special fiber. I have previously sold other hanks it to an artist who incorporated it into a fiber art piece.
