Description: This is a RARE, vintage 1948 Soviet Union overprint of a German postage stamp in the Soviet occupied zone in East Germany, after WWII. This is a "collector's stamp" and highly collectible. These stamps are becoming treasured as time goes by, especially by European stamp collectors. I acquired this stamp while living in West Germany, and these stamps are highly sought after by European traders.
