Description: Very nice fumed german white oak quartersawn guitar set, Backs about 8.2 wide at lower bout, 21.5 long, sanded to about 0.155 thick Sides, 32 long, 4.7 to 4.1 wide sanded to approximately 0.090 thick, Super cool fumed color with curl and quartered flake to backs. My understanding of the fuming process as done in europe whereby the wood is held under vacuum and the ammonia is introduced. The dark color is all the way thru the plate thickness. I have wetted the plates with mineral spirits for the pictures to give an approximation of the color this wood will be under finish. The edges have not been jointed, as I have left them as wide as possible.
