Check your dress bayonet for a clear & proper lug channel as well as a working release button. The K98 is one my most popular bayonet stands. Now you can display your K98 with its scabbard and frog for a really unique presentation. Having your collection standing upright allows for a more dramatic detailed view of your bayonet collection. Mounted on a 3' x 5' x 3/4' plaque** made of Knotty Pine, the bayonet, sheathed in the scabbard and Frog, is suspended in the upright position by a Stud Guide Assembly which recreates the same dimensions as the original Lug Assembly. The bayonet is captured by the catch/release button on the bayonet. The bayonet will not come off the stand unless you press the button.**Special Note: Due to unanticipated disruptions in the availability of the 3 x 5" wood plaques I may substitute a 4" circular wood plaques. It is not metal! Important Note: This stand is available in both the Black with wood trim finish and the Old World Custom Finish. The Old World Classic Finish Plaques tend to be more "Rustic" and will have knot holes and sometimes small gouges/chips etc. The plaques that have distinctive wood grain and "character" are specifically chosen for that finish. The plaques that have uniform color and little to no imperfections are chosen for the Black with Wood Trim Finish. You should be aware of the difference. All of my wood base stands are handmade and therefore the final product will have variations in color or wood grain pattern which we are not responsible for.
