German made flieger ARCHIMEDE 42mm, eta 2824-2

Description: ARCHIMEDE 42 pilot/flieger men's watch.Movement - swiss eta 2824-2, automatic/manual wind, hacking. In excellent condition. Selling with a deployant leather band, but keep the original Archimede band. Both are worn. The box was in a bad condition, so don't keep it.Size 42mm, 20mm lug width. Strong lume. Photos are part of the description.Sold as-is. ATTENTION!!! As batteries are not allowed in air mail, I can not ship with battery included. I must take the battery out before shipping, the buyer will recieve the watch in not working condition and will need to install a new battery! I will ship the watch with case back not fully pressed, so the buyer can inspect the movement at installation of the new battery after which the back can be pressed in place. I will leave it not fully pressed to avoid scratching it during opening for inspection and battery installation.If the buyer does not have the skills and knowledge to do the above actions, the watch should be taken to a watch service for installation of a new battery and case back fitting.Sorry for the inconveniency, but I don't make the rules and I can't change them. Please, make purchase only if you have read and understand the above notice! I've been asked before to break the rules and ship quartz watches with the batteries installed. Also I've recieved complaints that a perfectly fine watch is not working upon recieving, which is a normal thing if there's no battery in it. Sorry for the long text, I just want to make sure there is no confusion about it! Some have been professionaly serviced at some point but not all. I'm doing my best to upload authentic watches, and not put together from different parts frankenpieces. I do accept returns, but keep in mind that I mostly sell cheap old watches, and the return shipping from some countries may cost as much as the watch itself. I have excluded most of the world from my shipping list, as some countries' post services have prooven unreliable. So I appologise to those who would like to bid on my items but can't!
