Description: George III Vinaigrette John Shaw Sterling Silver Birmingham 1806 George III era English sterling silver vinaigrette, having oval form body in plain designs with gilt interior and beautifully pierced grill. Made by John Shaw of Birmingham, 1806. Full set of hallmarks, no monograms. This majestic vinaigrette is 1 1/8" long, 13/16" wide and 1/4" tall. It has a small hole on the grill. The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing. The excellent original condition and clear, crisp detail, with no monograms, removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.
