While there are others offering numbered plates, suggesting their plates are more accurate, using Diamond engraving or Laser engravers, I submit, Leo had neither from the 50's through the 80's. He used the same mechanical stamping process I use. There IS a difference. Look at the photos closely and compare. After years of searching, I have found the same type machine Fender originally used, so if accuracy is a concern, this is as close as it gets.
