General Thomas Morland Prominent British World War I Commander Autograph ''Rare'

Description: General Thomas Lethbridge Napier Morland [1865 1925] was a British general during the First World War who began his military career in 1884. During World War I he commanded the 2nd Infantry Brigade, 5th Division. X Corps, XIII Corps and in 1920 he was appointed as Commander of the Rhine. Listed for auction is a [ALS] autograph letter signed by General Thomas Morland. The letter is imprinted with the seal of the War Department, dated 18 March 1913 and is signed ''yours sincerely Morland'' in black fountain pen. The letter measures 5.00 x 7.50 inches, it has expected mail folds otherwise it is in fine condition and will be accompanied with its original transmittal envelope.
