The music itself is comfortable and well executed by the help of bay area musicians Matt Bauer, Jolie Holland, Safa Shokrai (The Drift) Jake Mann (Zim-Zims), and mixed by Nigel Pavao (Last Of The Blacksmiths). The songs were recorded over six months in five seperate locations from studios to closets, with emphasis on subtlety and distance.
