Description: Furtwangler Live: Brahms 4, Mozart 40, Beethoven 7 This is a pair of iconic and scarce recordings of the great Wilhelm Furtwangler conducting three terrific orchestras. On these two discs, you will receive Brahms 4th symphony, Mozart's 40th symphony, Beethoven's 7th symphony, plus others (see the pictures of the backs for the pieces and the orchestras). Both of these CDs are the Japanese recordings, which are much more rare and they are noted for the great sound. I rated the discs as Good and not higher because I don't want to overstate the CDs. There are a couple of light scratches on each disc. They are not major and each discs plays wonderfully. There are no problems with the playback. I think that you will find the discs to be fine and, possible, better than you thought. I just took a picture of each disc to try to show you the scratch. But, even with a large picture, the scratches don't show. They are light scratches. If you have been looking for or if you have wanted these recordings, here is a chance to get them.
