Description: For sale is a dinner plate by Furnivals in the Blue Quall pattern and marked with the round quail backstamp. The 190 1/4" diameter plate has a scalloped edge trimmed with a detailed border in blue on white. The center well is bordered with a repeating three-pointed leaf design. The double border frames the artwork of a pair of quail among a fantastical landscape of bushes, branches and flowers. This piece is in very good condition with no damage or wear. It has heavy overall crazing including circular pattern in center (photograph ), rib-like crazing over edge of rim with more traditional crazing near lip. The plate is marked on the reverse with the blue quail back stamp. Made in England. Approximate Measurement10 1/2" diameter1 1/4" high
