Description: Beautiful Extremely Rare French Edwardian Art Deco Circa 1910 Silver Fasces Crystal Glass Dual Photo Pendant Locket 💙 Hallmarked for French silver. Weighs approximately 6.2 grams including all contents. Approximately 3.4 cm (1 5.3/16 inches) in height including circular top but excluding oval loose bale, and approximately 3 cm (1 2.7/16 inches) in width or radius, and approximately 4.8 mm (2.7/16 of an inch) thick from glass crystal surface to opposite crystal glass surface. And the visible crystal glass diameter is approximately 2.35 cm (14.5/16 of an inch). Designed for two opposing photos or a very small flower or clover if you so will, sometimes they even used to add a lock of hair from their loved companion, its all up to you ! This locket has also been created in 18K gold, this one is silver how-ever. The silver frame is the traditional French Fasces theme of strength through unity which Napoleon popularized which carried on well into the Edwardian era. How cool a theme for a love locket since love unites and gives couples incredible strength, and the lack thereof has the opposite effect of truly destroying one.
