We have been extremely careful in our selection process to Breed only the best of best. Our blood line is a blend from a French national champion egg line to American lines that follow APA standards. Our goal was to create the darkest eggs we could breed. We have successful had 9's on the Maran Color Guide. This breed is highly sought after for their beautiful dark chocolate brown eggs. They are also a stunning bird with striking black and copper feathers. These birds are known for their friendly personalities and hardiness, making them a great addition to any backyard flock. We do everything in our power to ship the eggs safely to you. We cannot control when the girls will lay. Be aware that it may take a week to complete your order. First come, First severed. We do check egg Fertility ever week. If Fertility is low, we will wait to ship out your eggs. We do not hold eggs, we aim to ship out eggs in less than 24 hours after laying. Please be aware that we do not refund for any reason. We cannot control shipping, handling, or your hatcher. We normally have a 93 percent hatch rate year-round with our French Black Cooper Marans. Keep in mind we have perfect conditions since they lay on our farm, plus have commercial equipment for hatching. Before you place this order, please understand that Marans are like little printers. Depending on the cycle, they may print darker eggs and as the cycle goes on, they will get lighter. Just because the eggs you get are not all Super DARK 9's on the Maran scale doesn't mean that will not lay super dark. AGAIN, they lay Super dark and then will start to fade off until they restart a cycle. Once you get the eggs, please put them in your incubator. We run temperature at 99.8-100 and humidity between 62-70. I swear Marans can take an extra day, keep this in mind before lock down if you have different breeds in the same hatcher.
