From the Genus Boswellia Sacra, a tree in the Burseraceae family, its resinous dried sap is highly sought after. This high grade product is composed of mixed size opaque, semi clear and light brown 'tears' with a small amount of bark included. The aroma could best be described as having a Citrus overlay, with sweet top notes, with the burn eventually moving into the grounding meditative aspects that are well known to Frankincense aficionados. Our Sacra can be burnt on charcoal discs (also available from our shop), or tears can be placed into oil in an Aromatherapy burner for a more subtle experience.
