Description: Four vintage 1960's/1970's very heavy cast aluminum metal industrial outdoor or indoor box letters that spell "F O O D". The 4 letters measure 12" tall by 2" thick. The factory made boxed box block style letters display beautifully with great patina and could use a cleaning (or not). These very well-made letters were used on an outdoor wall of the Moon's Moons Moon and then the Ziggy's Ziggy Ziggys Ziggie's Ziggie Ziggies retail food market on Wanamaker Avenue in Essington, Delaware County, Delco, Pennsylvania that closed 4 years ago. The 4 letters have threaded holes on the back for mounting. The two "O" letters have 3 broken bolts in the holes (two in one "O" and one in the other "O") and may need to be drilled out or mount using the other holes.
