Description: For PARTS or REPAIR Sicura Automatic Jump Hour 17j Wrist Watch Vintage --- Watch does not run, you can hear the automatic winder spin but the 2nd hand does not move (it does move a tiny bit but it is not because it is running or ticking, seems to just move a tiny bit sometimes if you shake it). I tried to take the back off but I couldn't budge it (I don't have a case vise or press to hold it, I just have one of those adjustable 3 pin wrenches, I did apply what I thought was strong torque). The minute dial sets normally as does the hour window, the date advances with two full 12 hour advances (the crown feels like a single position so I didn't find a way to set the date another way). As you can see the case has heavy corrosion/pitting. There is also heavy soiling and corrosion around the back case seam. The acrylic crystal is cracked. The dial looks good (I don't see oxidation).
