Description: It has not been a fortunate time for area electronics techs and now someone is losing their lease after 42 years to redevelopment. They might reopen but are not in any hurry to and some vintage electronics gear is being offered at attractive prices. Sold "As-Is" for parts or repair is this Kenwood KR-5200 Stereo Receiver. This model/series has always been popular among musicians as they have a microphone input as well as tape in and tape out in quarter inch jack size right on the front. The person I got this from had a half dozen or so of them. Appearance wise not bad at all, the woodgrain finish has a few scratches. I was told it doesn't work but he didn't know or remember any more about it than that. This is the third of four similar units we are selling at this time and likely it is the best of the four. If restored to working order these units can go five times the price asked so there is opportunity for someone with a soldering iron. Combined shipping? It is really borderline to send two of these in one package but it might be done, we'll have to see first if it is worth doing.. Shipping by the most advantageous method either USPS or UPS, depends on where you live. May be picked up in person in Virginia Beach for no surcharge. It is somewhat heavy but the two services are in half of a price war so shipping might not be so bad as it used to be.
