Description: Rare find - La Francaise Porcelain pieces, c. 1910's Sebring, Ohio S P Co as follows: 9 teacups, 10 saucers, 10 berry bowls, 1 large serving bowl and one bread plate. All pieces have the same 22K gold garland design and gold rims. Cups are 3 5/8" across, 2 7/8" deep; saucers are 5 7/8" across, 7/8" deep; serving bowl 8 1/4” across, 2 1/2” deep, berry bowls 5" across, 2 1/8" deep, bread plate 6 1/2" across, 1 1/8” deep. All items are without chips and cracks aside from one saucer that has a 2 3/4" superficial crack requiring no repair and a tiny chip on the mouth of one saucer. There is very slight crazing on all pieces consistent with age. There is slight discoloration on only the bottom of one bowl. There is wear to the gold in places as expected but the gold has stayed intact. The cups are ridged by design and the plate, saucers, serving bowl and berry bowls are not round but have scalloped edges. Only the saucers and the serving bowl have the makers mark on the bottoms. They are consistent with the La Francaise Porcelain design popular at the time from the 1890's to early 1910's. For the age of the pieces they are in remarkable very good used condition. The age to us only enhances their beauty as well as the delicate embellishment. They are hard-to-find.
