Gatefold double album featuring extensive liner notes in English and French are historically viable and easy to read. Tested; Vinyl plays through without any issues. Small scratches and scuffs do not interfere with the enjoyment of these scarce recordings by luminaries such as dexter Gordon and Coleman Hawkins alongside Fletcher Henderson. Sleeve is excellent and has corner dings, a few stains and a trace of yellowing consistent with age , and a pen underlining a few songs and some of the passages in the gatefold sleeve. However, the well written liner notes more than make up for it as they are fascinating and very easy to read. This record album was obviously created as a labor of love and much time and effort was put in to making this one of the best jazz records historically and musically viable concerning the period from 1927 to 1936. The inlay or original inner sleeves consist of generic white paper and are still used as they are better than average quality with only a hint of yellowing and inside there is a smooth texture which helps the vinyl to stay in shape. Seller will include a clear outer sleeve to protect the artwork. The outer sleeve can also seal to keep out dust.
