Dating c1890 in our opinion, British Victorian School watercolour, unsigned, possibly after John Frederick Herring, this is a fine work that has, unfortunately, suffered f through storage and long-term display. Please see the condition report above. Several artists come to mind, too numerous to mentation; a popular genre subject for the Victorian illustrative painters. Presented in fair condition in a slightly later frame, suitably mounted and cleaned, this painting will look fabulous displayed.
