Description: A fine example of a 19th century walnut two part step back cupboard, its upper case with a molded cornice surmounting two doors with original glass panels, opening to two interior shelves and tongue & groove back, over a lower case with work surface and three fitted drawers with figured maple fronts and wooden pulls, over two blind paneled doors opening to a single shelf interior, all supported by four square carved feet. Pennsylvania in origin, in very good overall condition, with some case restorations, refreshed finish, minor discoloring in spots, and other imperfections and wear commensurate with age and use.
