Description: Vintage 16" Hand Painted Cabbage Roses Fenton Custard Glass Table Lamp UV Reactive Custard glass is a Victorian era opaque, off white or ivory coloured glass, that often uses uranium oxide in the glass mixture to give a slight green or yellow tint. As a result of the uranium, custard glass with this content glows a bright green colour when exposed to UV light. The shade was hand painted by Sharon Hart and signed on the inside of the lamp shade. Sharon was with Fenton 1976 through at least 1986 and I think even after that. The lamp is in excellent working condition! It does not include the UV black light bulb or the regular bulb. There are pictures of the lamp lit with a regular bulb and a black light bulb. It features a switch in the cord as well as on the lamp.
