Description: This is the most wonderful Fenton Optic Swirl French Opalescent water set that includes 3 glasses and a fabulous pitcher from 1939 era. The blue optic swirl pitcher is a whopping 9 1/4 inches tall and about 7 1/2 inches wide including the handle The pitcher has a perfect clear reeded glass crystal handle without any breaks or cracks or heat checks. The ice lip is beautifully sculpted to not allow ice to flow out when pouring the water or lemonade. The glasses are in a barrel shape and are about 4 inches high and with an opening of 2 5.8 inch diameter. Absolutely gorgeous. Fenton's French Optic Swirl can be pictured on pages 327 and 328 and 329 of "Fenton Art Glass" by Margaret and Ken Whitmyer. The pictures are from a Fenton 1939 catalog. The condition is perfect without any chips, cracks, or repairs.
