Description: Description A custom-made Fender Japan Esquire model manufactured in 1989.It is believed to be based on the TL-52-75, with a vintage specification of a one-ply pickguard and flat screws. A TL52-85 model not included in the catalog. The pickups are a black and white cross-wire model with no model number listed.The controls are current-wired, but it is thought to be a specification close to the Esquire's two-pickup version, the Double Esquire, before it was called the Broadcaster.The sound is the good old Fender Japan, a Telecaster sound with few quirks.As this is a custom-made product, there are many unclear parts and we can't say much for sure, but it is a must-see for Esquire fans. Neck date 1-28-89. The neck joint is stamped with TLC-52, C, N, and ORDER MADE. The neck pocket is written with order and TL52-85, and has N, C, and ORDER MADE stamps.There is a crack at the neck joint. The coating has peeled off on the edge of the fingerboard.There are paint chips, dents, and cracks on the back of the body.
