Description: Description Fender Custom Shop 2019 Collection Time Machine 1952 Telecaster Heavy Relic (Aged Nocaster Blonde) [SN.R137027] The 2019 collection Time Machine series, which I had reordered, has arrived after 5 years! This 52-spec one-piece maple neck Telecaster has a cool heavy relic with intense weather check! The Telecaster is the origin of Fender guitars. Before the Telecaster was called the Telecaster, it was released in the early 1950s under the model name Broadcaster, but at the time the name Broadcaster was a trademark of Gretsch, so the model name decal was quickly cut out and it was shipped with only the Fender logo. The guitar, which did not have a model name for a while, was called Nocaster by collectors and became popular as a rare model. After that, the Telecaster model name was printed on it and it has remained that way ever since. This is a limited production 1952 Telecaster, which is used in many series. The two-piece ash body is finished with a lacquer finish in Aged Nocaster Blonde color, giving it an exquisite sound and beautiful looks. The neck is made of rift-sawn, one-piece maple. The neck shape is a 52 Style U shape, with just the right thickness in any position and a great fit when gripped. The sound produced by the carefully selected ash body and one-piece neck allows you to experience a thick, crisp sound just by playing one chord. Both the body and neck are finished in heavy relics, with irregular weather checking and severe paint peeling in places. The back of the neck has been peeled off significantly from the 1st to 12th frets, and the texture of the wood gives it a smooth playing feel. The remaining paint has a tanned amber finish with a clear coat. The bridge is equipped with a vintage-style 3-way saddle. The saddle is made of brass, as in the past, and the sound obtained from the non-tremolo structure of the 3-way saddle is characterized by a direct and acoustic sound compared to a Stratocaster, and the sound that you can experience is thicker than a Stratocaster, as you would expect from a custom shop! The raw sound of the Custom Shop, which is above the rest of Fender, is characterized by the clarity of the bolt-on structure, and the airiness and thickness of the sound when output from the amplifier are truly on another level. Furthermore, the sound obtained by the heavy relic finish is so good that you can fully experience the vibration of the body and neck just by playing one chord. The overwhelming raw sound is so comfortable that you can play it forever without outputting it to an amplifier, and it is a quality that can only be experienced at a custom shop that is satisfying to play. All the pickups that reproduce the wonderful sound are hand-wound. Compared to normal machine-wound pickups, the impression is that the amplifier outputs a rich, acoustic airiness with rich overtones. This model is equipped with a Hand-Wound Loaded '51 Nocaster, and the player's style and habits are output as they are, such as finger plucking that makes use of the twangy and firm tone, sharp cutting produced by chopping picking, and thick, glossy, clear arpeggios. In addition, the controls are simple wiring with a master volume and a master tone using a wax paper capacitor. In addition, the string guide, pegs, and pickguard screws are minus screws, and the vintage specifications that tickle the hearts of enthusiasts are still alive and well. Don't miss out on this hybrid Telecaster that incorporates modern elements from a different angle while giving it a vintage look with a heavy relic finish that reproduces the damage that has been used in live performances!
