There is a memorial section to Charles “Chuck” Leslie who died in December of 1968. Magazine has front and back covers with 112 numbered pages inside with multiple articles. This issue focuses largely on African-American / Black issues of the time. This was Volume 6, issue number 6 of "Progressive Labor" magazine. Magazine is printed on very low quality, pulpy paper. It's a great reference on the struggles of African-American folks during the "Black Power" era in American life. Magazine has an advertisement for "China Publications" inside the front cover. Communist / left leaning political organization. Editor was Milton Rosen. The January 1969 "Statement by the Black Liberation Commission of the PLP" (Progressive Labor Party) on the subject of the Black Panther Party begins on page 30 of this publication. Important magazine in good, used condition. Not perfect but very decent.
