Description: Antique Pair Father Knickerbocker Cast Iron Bookends Door Stops #9961 Original Paint Selling an antique pair of cast iron bookends / door stoppers. I looked these up and supposedly they are called Father Knickerbocker - featuring a colonial man resting in his armchair read a book in his library. Each measures approx. 5" across by 5 1/2" tall and approx. 4" deep. These weigh just over five pounds each - almost eleven pounds unboxed. Numbered 9961, they are original with wear to the paint as well as minor damage from age, use and storage. (One chair is "loose" needs to be retightened). Both are missing the bottom felt. From a smoke free home. SS
