Description: FASCINATING ANTIQUE KALLIOPE DISC MUSIC BOX WITH 6 BELLS ITEM DESCRIPTION :Please find an original and great sounding Kalliope disc music box with 6 bells .Made in Leipzich Germany around the turn of the century. So it is well over 100 years old. This Kalliope uses 9 1/4 inch discs. I have 8 of these discs that come with the music box.The tittles of these 8 discs are :The Cloister bells-Garde du Corps March-Deutsches Flaggenlied-Hohenfriedberger March-The trumpeterof Sackkingen-We dance in a ring song from the operette The Dollar princess-Torgauer March-Geh mach dei Fenster auf- The case with beautiful inlay on top is 30 x 28 x 18 cm. ( 12 x 11 x 7 inch) It is in great condition. This music box is spring wound with an automatic stop / start mechanism. There are no teeth missing in the comb. The dampers are in good order .
