The binding is tight and there are no loose, torn or missing pages and all pages turn freely. The book is free of marks from pen, pencil, crayon, marker or highlighter. Page corners are nice...not curled, bent, folded or dog-eared except for the first four pages (bottom right corner has a slight fold/curl and the beginning of a tear. The dust jacket is in tact. There are signs of wear especially along the edges with cracking, chipping and tatters. It is in one solid piece. The spine appears to be secure. Given the book's age, I think it is in remarkably good shape. The inner pages have some discoloration from age mosty along the edges. The book has not been exposed to moisture. It has been stored inside of a plastic tote and comes from a smoke-free home. Please see photos for additional details.
