Description: Here for sale is a new beautiful factory Savage 114 walnut stock. This is for a left hand bolt action rifle with a long action (e.g. 30-06, 270 Win etc). This stock will not fit any Savage short action models. This stock can also be a direct replacement on the model 111 Trophy Hunter. I've used these wood stocks to replace the factory 'tupperware" plastic stock which comes standard on the Savage 111 Trophy Hunter with this stock being a perfect fit. This turned the model 111 into a beautiful rifle almost as pretty as the 114 American Classic (polished metal vs matte). The receiver bolt mounting location is just over 5" apart center to center. This is a bottom bolt release, bottom magazine release type stock. You will need to determine if this is the stock you need for your Savage bolt action rifle. When using this stock on the 111 other Savage parts may be required. Axis/Trophy Hunter type magazines work if the floorplate is changed or modified, however I do not know if this stock will fit the Axis series of rifles. It is my understanding the Axis models uses a different bolt mounting pattern compared to the other 110 series rifles. Speaking of the 110 model series, there were several variations over the years, especially with how the magazine was mounted thus this stock may or may not work.
