FABULOUS Vintage Sterling Silver & 16 MM Lustrous Double Mabé Pearl Necklace

Description: GORGEOUS vintage designer gold over sterling silver and large, silvery-white iridescent double mabé pearl necklace. This exquisite necklace is 20” long and weighs 134 grams. It is strung with twenty-six 15 mm to 16 mm round-baroque silvery-white lustrous mabé pearls and is finished with a very nice, dimensional insert box clasp. The pearls alternate with small gold over silver beads. These pearls are genuine mabé pearls that were put together to create a large, semi-round pearl offering the look of a multi-thousand dollar enormous saltwater pearl necklace. This necklace is MUCH more impressive in “person”. The pearls are very lustrous with iridescent play of color. The pearls are primarily white, but vary slightly from silver to very pale blue to pale pink in tone. I would absolutely LOVE to keep this necklace. It is exquisite. Frankly, I have never seen one like this. I was told by my jeweler and by the two gemologists that I spoke to about this necklace to price it much higher than I have here. I got a good buy on it, so I am passing it on. It is in very good condition with no damage other than, perhaps, very minor surface wear and natural inclusions in the pearls. The clasp is sturdy and holds very well. All of the silver is bright gold over sterling. The clasp is stamped “925”. The silver has been professionally tested as sterling silver.
