Description: EXC ORIG PETER PAN 1924 SILENT COLOR LOBBY CARD BETTY BRONSON PARAMOUNT ULTRA RARE FIRST RELEASE! J.M.BARRIE CLASSIC. FIRST PETER PAN FILM Simply beautiful and incredibly rare COLOR Title Lobby Card to the very first screen version (animated or otherwise) of J.M. Barrie's immortal story of PETER PAN. The silent Parmaount 1924 release produced by Herbert Brenon and Roy Popmery was the first of many movie versions about a boy who never grew up and who took runaway boys to "Never Land" where he battled his arch enemy Captain Hook (Ernest Torrence) along with Wendy (Mary Brian), Tinker Bell (Virginia Brown Faire) and Tiger Lilly (played by the legendary Anna May Wong). Amazing original first release TITLE card to the feature is a rare and wonderful find and is in exceptional condition. Red and green color is bright and vivid. 11x14 Card is in overall fine condition on thick cardboard like stock. As per photos, card has very small pinholes on the corners, some very minor (likely moisture related) blemishes at the top border and a very small chip out of the bottom right corner. However, entire image area is in top shape and card is free of any notable rips, tears, creases or defects. Card is completely unrestored with no trimming or tape on front or back. Just a true holy grail find for any silent film memorabilia or Peter Pan collector.
