Description: A very unique and vintage unbranded handmade and hand tooled leather and rattlesnake Western / ranger belt size 38 in fantastic condition. The body of the belt is made of 3mm thick black dye edged mahogany brown hand tooled scalloped leather with smooth strands of black leather woven through the center. That same type of hand tooled scalloped leather is used for the tabs and the stitched attached ornate rattlesnake surround panels (photo 3), the black dyed edges start where the stitching ends. Those rattlesnake framed panels have an opening of 3.75" by 5/8". There is one smooth leather keeper for the belt body, and a 4 piece scallop designed polished silver toned keeper set for the tabs. The keeper set is unmarked for metal content and is removable via snaps, tip is screwed. I am measuring this belt lying flat on a table face up. Belt measures 46.5" in length with a width of 1.5", thickness 3mm of belt, 6mm at rattlesnake surround and has 5 adjustment holes. First hole from buckle prong measures 36.75", third 38.25" and fifth at 39.75".
