(The production opened January 5th, 1950 at the Empire Theatre in New York City and ran for 501 performances before going on the road.) ..... The play starred ETHEL WATERS and featured BETTY LOU HOLLAND, JAMES HOLDEN, ROBERT MARIOTTI, PATRICIA FAY, PHYLLIS WALKER, AUGUSTUS SMITH, LOUIS PETERSON, VIRGINIA McMAHON, FRANCES INGALLS, JAMES MALONEY, MARY COTTERMAN and BARRY TRUEX .....
